Just a wonderful experience. The food was grand, service was spectacular and the view was just amazing. I recommend the outside seats near the heaters for a great view. The prices were fair too. We were in and out and fully satisfied.

Our waitress on Thursday night was very hard-working and informative. For over 22.00 I expected moist, flavorful fish and sides. Everything was under seasoned including the hard, sour tomatoes. The seasonal vegetables included carrots, the hard end of asparagus, and mostly yellow bell pepper. The best part of the meal was the sourdough bread, which was kindly replenished due to how long it took our food to come out. A little garlic, dill and salt would go a long way.

A collection of kiosks and stalls serving a variety of foods from various regions of the U.S. and even around the world. Everything we tried was great. Your experience depends on your personal preferences and choices. Busy, noisy, exciting, trendy - fun!

Great service and really good food. The server made several recommendations and we took the advice. He also recommended the sauce that was on the table for the crispy fish tacos i ordered - absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend this place.

Love it. Delicious food as always, but it's quite pricey. The lobster $60 and the prime strip steak is $50 for a small portion. Its more classy and romantic place than a usual dine in restaurant.

The BEST oyster Happy Hour bar in all of San Diego's harbor restaurants! The choipinno and fish tacos are to DIE for...not to mention the oysters again too! We stop here whenever we are in town so I can get a good deal on oysters....expect to pay up to $30 for a dozen in some restaurants. You can't beat the Fish Markets happy hour and you certainly can't bear the view of the harbor and the USS Midway.

Fabulous location on the water, easy access, easy parking. The food is delicious, grab some fresh fish to go at the market. Business lunches, date nights, or looking for a meal while on vacation. This is a great option.

The service and food was excellent. The waitstaff provide a great service by checking on you and accommodating your requests. Probably the best chowder i have ever had.

The Fish Market has a great selection of fresh fish and the menu is updated daily to reflect their selections. We enjoyed our dinner. They were super busy due to the holidays but our waiter Chris was fantastic and made our meal excellent! You can also purchase fresh fish and seafood from the market counter. Worth a visit!

Husband loved fried oysters with fries. I was happy with my tuna sashimi and gluten-free soy sauce. Great view and heaters were on outside to keep us comfortable in the chill evening air.

This is a higher end seafood restaurant. But the parking is atrocious. The area is extremely busy and there's nowhere to park I was scheduled to attend a celebration of life for a very close friend of mine but after driving around for nearly an hour and not being able to find any place to park. I would suggest anyone planning to go here consider going to one of the other restaurants that has their own parking lot where you know you'll be able to get in. It took me almost 20 minutes to get to the front door of the restaurant because the people just stopping in the middle of the lane waiting for somebody to come and get into their car and leave but you couldn't go around the people that were blocking the aisle. I understand that the restaurant is very nice and has good food but not worth the aggravation can't say it's everyday this way but with the midway right next door I'm going to assume it's bad almost every day.

We came here for a late lunch so the restaurant wasn't crowded. They have a little library where my kids could borrow a book while they were here, which made things a bit of fun. The food was alright, and the location allowed us to watch some ships as the moved about outside the windows.

I have never had fish so it was a first for me. The food was AMAZING and we had the best service ever!! We will definitely be back. I had the chipotle rubbed swordfish taco and it was delicious. Highly recommend!

We really liked the salads. The location and atmosphere are outstanding. The fish and chips lacked seasoning but were nice and crispy. If you're visiting the Midway it's a good place for a bite to eat.

I very much loved their food and service, awesome area next to where I live. The workers are always kind. Highly recommended.

The best seafood I have had in a very long time. Food was fresh and came out hot and fast. Customer service was amazing.

Enjoyed the Sea Bass dish. The ambiance of being on the water at sunset was nice too. Seemed a bit pricey but would recommend.

A San Diego Staple!!!!! If I could have given it 10 stars I would have. Sea Food Quality was impeccable. We had the Shrimp prawns in a creamy cilantro sauce over slaw...Wow!!! My Sushi was delicious as well. My wife's Steak was prepared to prefection. The Atmosphere is so inviting and Very Classy! Make sure you get a chance to sit outside to enjoy the picturesque San Diego Bay. Alicia was our Server and She was 1st Class all the way. Thanks again to Tyler and all the Staff!! It was my first time there. Very great place, nice view, all was clean, great smell. Flavor of the food, simply delicious. Customer service was more that expected. So, thanks guys. I felt like home. Keep up the good job. Just a tip, take some time to wait, due it's always full but it worth it. Of course I'll be back.

Nice place. Found it overpriced for the quality of food they offer. Also, the decor is a little dated. Not crazy to come back to this place, there is better food for waaaaayyyy less.

Best place to have a nice dinner or lunch when you are in downtown. Fresh food, great service and nice view when you get table on the deck like we did. Higher prices but it is definitely worth the money. Also I liked that they have Sapporo draft beer.

The fish was fresh in the sushi and the fish and chips. I had the sushi sampler and fish and chips. I was there around 2:45PM and it was gorgeous and very warm. The sun is really really bright at that time but it was great with the warmth. The views were great, we saw a couple Navy ships going past while we were there.

Great food. The second waiter was great. The first one forgot about us.( Actually forgot we were there.) Valet parking only covered a little bit of the parking which was weird, But it's San Diego so...

Came here visiting this state for the first time and stumbled upon this place and absolutely fell in love. It was so clean. Staffing was very friendly and no wait to get in ( Monday Afternoon ). If you chose to set outside you set right along the ocean. Has sun shade and also be prepared for pigeons walking all around but it's all part of the experience so I didn't mind! I had fish tacos and wow were they delicious!!

It was great! We had some calamari and the peppers mixed in was fantastic. The cajun halibut was cooked to perfection, not dried out at all. I chose the tomato and onion salad and wished I had more.

Great menu, great service. We sat outside with great bay views. Sit outside and see what naval vessela are parked across the bay at North Island. For a chain this place is surprisingly good with anything seafood from sushi to oysters to fish and chips to lobster.

I had the shrimp & crab combo salad, that was perfect! You can decide what dressing. I sat outside the Bar, where I saw a lot of action on the Bay. I also enjoyed a cranberry martini with stuffed olives. What a beautiful day I had! Can't wait to go back. My server really pampered me.

You'd never know this restaurant is part of a chain. The seafood could not be fresher, the service is attentive, and the views are to die for! It's a huge place, but they do a good job of making you feel welcome and the food is amazing. They also have a great selection of fresh fish to cook at home. A winner!

Visiting friends in town and this is their favorite fresh seafood place. I can see why. I had the Monkfish and my partner had the King Crab legs, both were amazing. I want to shout out to Leann, she was the only one that walked by our table and offered our service dog some water. She wasn't even our server, who was also good but her name didn't stick.Thank you for a great lunch.

Location! Location! Location! Perfectly placed for a nice lunch on a sunny day in San Diego. Fish is great. Service is good and views are excellent. Parking can be a bit hectic but valet prices are decent.

Great view, professional services provided, good food. I haven't enjoyed a bowl of clam chowder for a very long time, well this place broke that streak. Clam chowder is very creamy and rich. The last time I had this good clam chowder soup was back in 2012 at Boston and 2010 at San Francisco.The fish they server here are fresh and not only that, the way they cook is real amazing. Just sitting on a nice view is just an icing on the cake.

I went with this restaurant multiple times because their foods taste better and delicious. Their staffs were very entertaining, qualified, and informative. Also, the place was modern, tidy, and organized. Eventually, it was refreshing and comfortable to stay in a clean and beautiful place the same as your restaurant. Thank you for the food. From the moment I walked in and was greeted by the hostess, this was my best dining experience of 2019! The food was excellent, but what really made this a memorable experience was the server. She made us feel like we were the most important people in the place and her knowledge of the menu was so impressive that we went with her suggestions for both food and wine and her recommendations were excellent. If you are headed to San Diego, the Fish Market is a don't miss destination for dinner.

I've been coming here for years. I did take a break when there was a small fire there a few years back, but you can't tell there every was any damage. It was pretty busy for a Friday with a packed house. The wait was only 15 minutes so that was a plus! Faith, our server, was very knowledgeable about the menu and answered any questions asked. The food came out pretty quickly and the clam chowder was pretty good. Would have been great if there wasn't any sand left in the clams but it the amount was minimal. (Should have been no sand at all) Sourdough bread and butter were always replenished at the table as well. The swordfish was excellent but in my opinion should have been a bit thicker for the price. There is also an outdoor seating next to the bay, sushi bar, fresh fish counter, and a diner style seating area inside. If you want fresh fish dishes this is the place to go. I recommend it!

This place is in a great location. We were unimpressed by prices, taste and portion size. We were seated quickly and served well, and the food was decent, but for the money it was fairly ridiculous. They charge extra for seasoning. Huh?

Excellent Food, Service, and ViewMy wife, her sister, and a friend disembarked from their cruise ship late morning on a Sunday. So, I made an 11:30am reservation for all of us for lunch. We were promptly seated in their enclosed patio—right on the water—by a friendly, upbeat young woman. She assured us our server would be right with us.Our server was an older man who exuded confidence, humor, and friendliness. He handled each and every part of our service with all three elements. It was a joy.Our food were simple selections (e.g., tuna sandwich) and all were well-presented and tasted good. The service was not rushed and may be too slow for some.

The view at sunset is amazing. The food pretty good. For what our bill came out to be, it should have been mind blowing but it wasn't. Service was very good, and waiter explained the dishes well. The 4 stars is for my under cooked scallops. 20 more seconds they would have been perfect. The PROSCIUTTO was also under done. That's why I give it a 4 star rating as the other 2 diners loved their entrees and were so excited by the view. Me? yes, I liked the view, but not my entree so much.

AWESOME in all aspects!! Food fantastic! Ambience and so many food options ..all outstanding. Service impeccable! Owners receptive and welcoming!! Truly my NEW FAVORITE place...can't wait for out-of-state guests come to visit to share this phenomenal place with them! And will be my first thought when going out with friends and family! Children are very welcomed with crayons, books to read (even in a variety of languages) and children friendly menus. The owners' vision for a 5-star restaurant experience is exponentially realized in all aspects...absolutely thrilled!!

I miss going there. When our business was downtown San Diego. We would go to happy hour. It was really happening. Because we were there. Just kidding. Not. Anyways love the view, restaurant, bar, food, cocktails and my friendly bartender that would make me laugh. Things change, but will have special memories. Second time I came to the Fish Market. Food is great no doubt: flavor is excellent. But the portion I paid for seems to not match the price. Found it way overpriced. I guess that’s the price you pay dining by the harbour. I also noticed how the food does take super long to arrive, I’m not sure if it’s just slow service or busy. And they serve you unlimited bread to fill you up and not complain, which I am not too happy about since I came for the main dishes and not free bread. Maybe next time I won’t come in super hungry. Pictured is my order of Garlic and butter shrimp linguine pasta. It’s $27.99 plus tax would be almost $30 not including tip. They did put a lot of shrimp in this dish but still overpriced to be honest.

From the moment you step in this restaurant they give you a nice feeling. Very hospitable team, it is a happy restaurant to enjoy with your friends or with your date. tasty cuisine, talented chef de cuisine, modest price and excellent service. Highly recommended.

Our meal was delicious and the service excellent. We would recommend this place to anyone. Staff went above and beyond for us. We did find it a bit noisy but otherwise great.

Amazing! The food was outstanding and hyper super fresh. Daniel was our waiter, he was probably one of the best servers we have had in a long time! I work in the service industry. It was perfect!

What a place to dine you sit on a deck table and chairs over the water enjoy looking at Del Coronado island at maybe a huge aircraft carrier or two and all the other ships coming into and leave Port watch the fast zodiac patrol the harbor keep things safe navy seals might be practicing if your lucky. O by the way the seafood is just great have never have a fork or spoon of bad food large selection of fish and other things. Service is very good. A litte pricey but we'll worth it. Enjoy.
